HIGH POINT, N.C. (Saturday, June 13, 2026) - Crown Legacy FC fell for just the second time this season, losing 2-0 to in-state rivals Carolina Core FC at Truist Point. CLFC remains atop the Eastern Conference standings heading into next week's slate.
Carolina Core found the back of the net just before halftime, striking in the 43rd minute. Forward Arnaud Tattevin received a pass just outside of the box with space away from his defender. The forward launched a strike from 20-yards out into the top right corner of goal.
Tattevin struck again, doubling the home side's lead in the 51st minute. Core's David Diaz whipped a cross in from the right flank, meeting Tattevin who pulled away from his defenders and met the ball for a header at the back post.
Crown Legacy FC continues its three-match road trip next Saturday when the squad travels to take on Huntsville City FC. Kickoff at Joe Davis Stadium is set for 8:00 p.m. ET and the match can be streamed on OneFootball or MLSNEXTPro.com.
