Sawchak was appointed as Crown Legacy FC's third head coach in Club history in Januaray 2026. Sawchak joined Crown Legacy FC in February 2023 following a year-long stint as an assistant coach with USL League One side Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. The Atlanta, Ga. native served as the Club’s interim head coach in 2024 following the departure of Jose Tavares and posted an 8W-5L-5D record to go along with a run to the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference Semifinals. He also has coaching experience with the Chattanooga Red Wolves, Oglethorpe University and Atlanta United's Academy. A University of Alabama at Birmingham alum, Sawchak had a 10-year professional career, where he mainly suited up in Finland's second division.
Belair joined Charlotte FC in 2020 as the Director of Player Personnel where he oversaw the team’s salary budget for the inaugural roster build. He was subsequently promoted to Technical Director in 2022 before shifting to Assistant General Manager in 2024. The former Clemson University and Brown University player currently oversees player personnel, performance, and medical, as well as Crown Legacy FC roster construction.
Wilson joined Charlotte FC in 2024 after serving as the Philadelphia Union’s first academy director for over a decade. He has overseen the development of more than 30 players who went on to sign professional contracts including current U.S. Men’s National Team players Brenden Aaronson, Paxten Aaronson and Mark McKenzie. The Scotland native brings 30 years of coaching experience, including stops at the Scottish Football Association and Rangers FC.
Martínez joined Charlotte FC in August 2025 as the Club's U-18 Head Coach before being named as CLFC's Assistant Coach on Jan. 21, 2026. Martínez made the move from FC Dallas where he served as a First Team assistant coach in 2024 and as the Director of Sports Performance for the Academy from August 2023 to February 2024. The Valencia, Spain native also served as an assistant coach with the U.S. U-16 and U-18 National Teams and worked in various coaching roles throughout Spain.
Edwards joined Charlotte FC in July 2020 as an Academy goalkeeper coach before serving as an interim goalkeeper coach for the First Team in 2022. The Summit, N.J. native was named Crown Legacy FC's goalkeeper coach in 2023 ahead of the Club's inaugural season. As a player, Edwards began his career with Wake Forest University, where he won the 2007 NCAA College Cup before embarking on a professional career in MLS and Sweden.
