CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Friday, April 3, 2026) — Crown Legacy FC today announced that captain Willian Sangoquiza has undergone successful medial collateral ligament (MCL) surgery. The defender will be sidelined for 3-4 months as he begins his rehab process.
The Quito, Ecuador native led CLFC in its strong start in 2026, playing every minute through the Club’s first four matches and helping to keep two clean sheets. Sangoquiza has totaled 29 appearances, 25 starts, with Crown Legacy since joining on Nov. 20, 2023, scoring two goals and adding one assist.
