CLFC bolsters its midfield ahead of the 2024 home opener

CHARLOTTE, NC (Wednesday, March 6, 2024) – Crown Legacy FC signs midfielder Brandon Parrish from Clemson University.

The former Tiger joins the Club after being drafted 36th overall by DC United in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft presented by Adidas.

“Brandon is a high-potential midfielder who proved his talent during his four seasons at Clemson,” said Assistant General Manager Bobby Belair. “He is a player we watched heavily throughout his time at Clemson and jumped on the opportunity to sign him, as we feel he fits our system as a two-way midfielder. Brandon’s winning mentality and experience in big matches will help our Club and set him up for success in his first professional season.”

Parrish, 22, is entering the professional ranks after a standout season at Clemson, serving as the captain of the men’s soccer program in 2023 and winning his second national championship. The midfielder netted a half-volley from 25 yards out to open the scoring in a 2-1 victory over Notre Dame in the 2023 NCAA College Cup final.
