Queens, NY (Sunday, April 30, 2023)- Crown Legacy FC continue its unbeaten run in MLS NEXT Pro, defeating shorthanded New York City FC II 4-1.
Forward Iuri Tavares netted his third goal with CLFC while forward Josue Rodrigues and midfielders Nuno Santos and Nikola Petkovic all netted their first goals with the Club. Petkovic also added an assist to his account along with captain David Poreba and forward Vini Mello. Santos and Mello each made their MLS NEXT Pro debuts.
Crown Legacy FC continue to sit atop of the Eastern Conference as they look to face second place Orlando City B on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
