MATTHEWS, N.C. (Sunday, March 15, 2026) - Crown Legacy FC continued its four-match home slate with a 3-0 victory over Inter Miami CF II at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex. Beninese forward Rodolfo Aloko leads MLS NEXT Pro in goal contributions after scoring his fifth goal and registering his second assist of the season.
CLFC struck in the 25th minute to take an early advantage. The play began in Crown Legacy's defensive half with Nimfasha Berchimas forcing a turnover at the corner flag before finding Hugo Mbongue making a run to the midfield. The Canadian faked directions to shake his defender and sent a well-timed through ball on to Aloko, who muscled his way past the backline and calmly finished his opportunity.
The home side found the back of the net soon after the halftime break when in the 48th minute Serbian midfielder Andrej Subotić sent a through ball to Nathan Richmond in open space on the right flank. The forward found himself with a one-on-one opportunity and sent his shot to the back post for a 2-0 lead.
Just five minutes later, Nimfasha Berchimas added to the advantage when Aloko flicked a short cross over Miami's defense for the winger to hit in a sicssor kick past the keeper.
Crown Legacy FC returns to action on Sunday, March 22, when the Club continues its four-match homestand against Atlanta United 2. Kickoff at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and admission to the match is free.
