CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Friday, April 3, 2026) — MLS NEXT Pro today announced it has named Crown Legacy FC as Team of the Month for March.
CLFC finished the month of March with a perfect 4-0-0 record, posting the most goals in an opening month in MLS NEXT Pro history, 17, two clean sheets and allowing only three for a league best +14 goal differential. The Club’s unbeaten record and 17 goals in a calendar month matches only Tacoma Defiance and Columbus Crew 2, both marking the feat in 2022.
"The boys getting Team of the Month is totally deserved based on how humble and hardworking they have been through preseason and up to this point,” said Head Coach Kevin Sawchack. “I think this is the year we have had the most talented players and humble players since I've been at Crown Legacy in the past four seasons."
Crown Legacy FC rounds out its four-match homestand tonight against Atlanta United 2 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex. Admission to the match is free and kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
