CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Friday, April 3, 2026) — MLS NEXT Pro today announced it has named Crown Legacy FC forward Rodolfo Aloko as Player of the Month for March.
Aloko, 19, caught fire to start the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season, leading the league in goals and goal contributions with six goals and two assists. The forward opened his season with back-to-back braces and has scored in each of his four matches, picking up MLS NEXT Pro Player of the Matchweek honors for Matchweek 3. The Beninese attacker joined the Club last fall from NK Kustošija Zagreb and featured for Benin in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. His award marks the first time a CLFC player has been named Player of the Month since former forward Patrick Agyemang took home the honors for July 2023.
"I am very happy because my teammates were there for me,” said Beninese forward Rodolfo Aloko. “I really appreciate the award, but I want more, to push myself and be my best. I am very, very happy and honored."
Crown Legacy FC rounds out its four-match homestand tonight against Atlanta United 2 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex. Admission to the match is free and kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
