Crown Legacy FC has clinched a spot in the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs for the second consecutive season! The Club will have to take the road less traveled to the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup, traveling for all playoff matches through the Eastern Conference Finals. First up, Crown Legacy will face top seeded FC Cincinnati 2 in the conference quarter finals Sunday October, 20th at NKU Soccer Stadium at 7PM. I If CLFC can bring home the trophy, it will be the first silverware in the Charlotte FC organization's young history! #BuildTheLegacy

CL Playoffs Bracket 
  • The MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs consist of 15 single-elimination matches, split between the Eastern and Western Conference until the MLS NEXT Pro Cup
  • The higher seeds in each round will host and choose their opponent for each round, and if a match is tied after 90 minutes, a 30-minute extra time period will be played and will move onto a penalty shootout if necessary to determine a winner
  • The highest overall seed in MLS NEXT Pro will host the Cup on October 22. Crown Legacy FC is the 13th overall seed in the league and the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

When is the first playoff match?

Crown Legacy will play FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday October 20 at 7 p.m. at Northern Kentucky University Soccer Stadium

How many teams make MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs?

Eight teams from each conference make playoffs with the highest seed choosing its opponent for each round

When is the MLS NEXT Pro Cup?
The MLS NEXT Pro Cup will be held the weekend of November 8th with the time and date TBA.
