CLFC will take on the defending MLS NEXT Pro Champions on Sunday, October 8 at 3 p.m. ET at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews
Charlotte, NC (Tuesday, October 3, 2023) – Crown Legacy FC today announced that the Club will host Columbus Crew 2 on Sunday, October 8 at 3 p.m. ET at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex for its first-ever MLS NEXT Pro playoff match.
As the Eastern Conference’s top seed, Crown Legacy FC had the option to choose either third seed Columbus Crew 2 or fourth seed New York Red Bulls II as part of MLS NEXT Pro’s “pick your opponent” process. CLFC chose the defending champions Crew 2 during yesterday's selection call.

If Crown Legacy FC advances, the Club will host the winner of New England Revolution II and New York Red Bulls II for the Eastern Conference Final.
