Harrisburg welcomed its first CLTFC mini pitch on May 16, 2023. In collaboration with CLTFC partner Bojangles, the new turf mini pitch is the sixth out of 22 in the Pitches for Progress Initiative and serves local kids and adults.

The unveiling featured guest appearances and opening gestures from Joe LaBue, CLTFC President, Dustin Swinehart, CLTFC Director of Community Engagement, as well as Tom Boland, Bojangles Chief Marketing Officer, and Dave Henderson, Bojangles Main Director. Together, they completed the ceremonial “first kick” of the field, officially opening it to the community. Local kids in attendance received t-shirts, Supreme snacks and books, courtesy of Bojangles.

The mini-pitch unveiling was ahead of Bojangles Day at the Charlotte FC vs. Nashville SC match on Saturday, May 20, where the first 5,000 fans in attendance received a limited-edition Bojangles-sponsored Sir Minty chain.
