Charlotte FC enters this year's edition of the U.S. Open Cup in the Round of 32 and will face Charlotte Independence. The Crown will host Independence at Matthews Sportsplex the week of April 13, 2026; the official date and time will be announced soon.
Tickets for the Round of 32 will go on sale to the public on April 7 at 10 a.m., with a Season Ticket Member presale the day before, on April 6 at 10 a.m. More details will be sent via email from Charlotte FC. To sign up for ticketing news, click here.
Charlotte was put in the 'Clint Dempsey Group' with Atlanta United, Chattanooga, and Charlotte Independence. Hosting priority was also set, and if Charlotte FC advances, they will host the winner of the Atlanta United vs. Chattanooga match.
