Toklolmati contributed towards all three goals in comeback victory against FC Dallas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Monday, October 12,2026) - Charlotte FC forward Idan Toklomati was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 29 following the Club’s comeback win over FC Dallas on Saturday night. This marks the second time the striker received the honor in his career. On Saturday night, Toklomati recorded a career best at Charlotte FC, finishing with two goals and an assist. The Israeli forward contributed to the first two goals in the span of four minutes to level the match.

After falling behind 2-0 through 70 minutes, French winger Allan Saint-Maximin glided past two defenders before picking out Toklomati, who was waiting by the six-yard box, for the first goal of the night and sparking The Crown’s comeback.

Charlotte would find the equalizer just four minutes later off a set piece opportunity. Spanish midfielder Pep Biel whipped in a corner kick, meeting the head of Toklomati before defender Harry Toffolo guided the ball over the goal line for his first in his CLTFC career.

Toklomati completed the comeback in stoppage time after linking up with Biel and substitute forward Rodolfo Aloko. After crisp buildup play between the latter two, the Spaniard found Toklomati making a run into the box unmarked before sending a pass right to the feet of the striker, completing the comeback for The Crown and securing all three points.

The Crown will travel to Ohio to take on Columbus Crew on Wednesday, October 14. Kickoff from ScottsMiracle-Gro Field is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the match will be broadcast on Apple TV.
