The Crown will host Orlando City SC after defeating South Georgia Tormenta FC in the Third Round on April 25th, 2023.

Charlotte, NC (Thursday, April 27, 2023) – Charlotte FC today was drawn against Orlando City SC in the Round of 32 in the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
The match will be played at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews with the date and kickoff time scheduled to be announced at a later date. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, April 28th and are $15 for Charlotte FC Season Ticket Members and $25 for the general public. Season Ticket Members will receive an exclusive code via email for the discounted rate.
Last season, Charlotte FC defeated USL League One sides Greenville Triumph SC and the Richmond Kickers before falling to the New York Red Bulls in the Round of 16.The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, U.S. Soccer’s National Championship, is an annual knockout competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. The tournament first crowned an annual champion at the end of the 1913-14 season. In 1999, the competition was renamed to honor American soccer pioneer Lamar Hunt.
