CHARLOTTE, NC (Thursday, November 24, 2022) – Charlotte FC today announced midfielder Jordy Alcívar has joined Independiente Del Valle on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee. CTLFC will also receive a percentage of any future sale of Alcívar.
The Ecuadorian, who joined the Club in October 2021 from LDU Quito, made 20 league appearances during CLTFC’s inaugural season . He scored one goal and added one assist during the campaign.
“Everyone at the Club thanks Jordy for his time at Charlotte FC and wishes him the best throughout the rest of his career,” said Sporting Director Zoran Krneta. “This move gives us added roster flexibility as we approach the winter transfer window to improve our squad ahead of the 2023 season.”
Alcívar’s departure opens an international roster slot for Charlotte FC.
