Program Overview

In a dynamic partnership with the Soccer Foundation of Charlotte, Charlotte FC is proud to support the Greater Goals program. The fall season will kick off on September 15th and run for 10 weeks, serving approximately 750 CMS Title I students.

Building upon our shared commitment to empowering communities, Ally has taken the lead in driving enhancement and funding for this program, reflecting their deep dedication to fostering positive change through sport.

Objectives & Milestones

At its core, Greater Goals continues to provide invaluable free after-school soccer and literacy programming for Title I elementary school students. Skillful coaches and mentors engage participants with hour-long sessions twice a week, instilling soccer proficiency and vital social values like teamwork, respect, inclusion, and hard work. 
Some of the major milestones of the Greater Goals program in 2025 include:

• Implementing afterschool snack for all program participants

• New reversible Greater Goals jerseys, reflecting both Soccer FC and Charlotte FC's commitment to the program

• A spring and fall city-wide play day, hosted at Atrium Health Performance Park

Together, these endeavors weave a tapestry of transformation, reflecting our dedication to nurturing upward mobility and positive change.
